A multilayer production cel setup from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring a fantastic image of Cyclops, Gambit, and Wolverine arguing about their plan of action, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the second episode of season three, titled "Out of the Past, Part Two," which aired on August 5th, 1994. Each character is on its own 10.5"x12.5" cel layer, which have been intentionally registered in a manner to better present all three characters. The character images measure 7.25"x4.25" for Cyclops, 8.25"x5" for Gambit, and 8.75"x6.5" for Wolverine. The cels are in very good condition with light surface scratches, minor line and paint fade and transfer, and paper transfer to the reverse of the paint from storage. The cel has been paired with a reproduction color copy background for display purposes.
